Lawrence Samuels MD
Dr. Lawrence Samuels is a Board Certified Dermatologist and was one of the early adopters of using the microscope to create follicular unit hair grafts for hair transplantation surgery. Dr. Lawrence Samuels and his staff are devoted to performing all microscopically prepared follicular unit hair grafts for transplants. He is a Board Certified Dermatologist and has specialized in hair transplantation since 1989. Dr. Samuels was one of the early adopters of using the microscope to create follicular unit grafts. Follicular unit grafts contain 1-4 hairs in each graft. Dr. Samuels carefully creates all incisions for these grafts personally, determining the pattern, density and direction of the new hair. He then works with the highly experienced medical technicians in placing these follicular unit grafts. Due to the large amount of time and attention he and his staff devote to the patient, they often limit themselves to doing only one patient per day. Follicular unit grafts allow Dr. Samuels to repair patients who have outdated procedures or poor results from previous hair transplant surgery.
